The Center Lovell Market located in beautiful Lovell Maine is bounded by the White Mountains of NH, the winding Saco River to the south, and encompassing Kezar Lake, the jewel of Western Maine. Only 55 miles outside of Portland and close to Fryeburg Academy, the Fryeburg Fair, and North Conway NH, we are a hop, skip, and a jump from many attractions.
Founded in 1934, "The Market", as it is known locally, has been the hub of the community it has served for over 85 years. Offering sustenance, cheer, a bite to eat or a cup of Joe…the Market is the place to go to hear how much it snowed, where a tree has fallen, or who saw the largest moose. It is not uncommon for UPS or FED-EX to deliver packages for locals or ask us for directions to a certain obscure address. Stopping in The Market is as much of a tradition in Lovell as is jumping off the bridge at the Narrows on a sweltering August afternoon or waving a flag while watching the Lovell Old Home Days parade every July.
